Peter Olsen Welcome to S&M/1664 from S&M Bikes on Vimeo.
This is the edit many of you have been waiting for and it really doesn’t disappoint! Pete’s skills are on another level. Congrats on the S&M hook up, well deserved! Go watch this already! Stickied!
yesss!!! incredible slow mind-warping style
Yes! So stoked for Pete! What is everyone’s favourite trick?
Boom!
@Trevor – Super hard to call. Personally just love how different Peter rides to everybody else. Everything he does is amazing!
Wow. The bit that starts at 1:29 and 2:13 stand out, but really, everything in this is insane. Zero filler.
Good grief!
ok now i can go to sleep happy!
twisted motion shit!bravo Pete 🙂
that was sick!!
sick!
Such innovation makes me happy! Totally crazy!!!!
The combo at 1:40 is NOT possible!
Amazing!
1:42 and 2:12 are personal favorites
Pivoting Pete Awesome.
“uh huh – ya kno”
Pete is not human
Nice! I love the deathtruck link.
is this the guy from dane beardsleys video a few years ago?
so dope.
Grant, the guy in Dane’s video was Hamilton Abe. Similar mindset to Pete in regard to simplicity, directional flow/going with the bike and finishing circles.
When I saw the video had been posted I gasped and spilt my coffee.
When Pete did the pivot from the backwards rope/time into the backwards backyard I shouted “no!”.
Wow. What can I say. The rewards of such discipline, talent and focus are amazing to watch.
Because of lightness, 95% or riders have a ‘bike follows me’ style. I really like the ‘me follows bike’ style that a few riders like Pete and Dane have. It reminds me of the past when bikes were heavier.
Good work Pete. It’s inspiring me to get off my ass. First I’ll finish what’s left of this coffee and watch your video again though…
Soooo good! Glad to see S&M keeping it legit with the dudes they support, probably the most ICONIC brand ever!
Killer Edit Peter ! Lot of Inspiration !
Bang bang bang!!
Incredible level. Pushing the sport once again!
fresh fresh fresh!game changer right there!
That. Was. Dope.
Feel the Flow!!! This video made my day!!
“Because of lightness, 95% or riders have a ‘bike follows me’ style. I really like the ‘me follows bike’ style that a few riders like Pete and Dane have. It reminds me of the past when bikes were heavier.”
This.
Yes, I shouted in front of the display, like many of you 😉
In-fucking-sane!
Shout out to Chad and S&M for helping Pete out. His riding is polar opposite to Chad’s in a sense, but similar in that they can both drop a 2 minute once a year, and everyone in flatland (and hopefully in bmx) will watch it.
So good!
so good
Bloody hell!!
That was refreshing to watch-love to see riders not following trends and doing their own thing.
Edit of the year? Certainly a contender…
Without a doubt Chris. Peter is paving his own way, this is the kind of edit that changes the game. Love it!
nice nice nice!!!!!!
Thanks for the kind words guys!
Nice to have Canada on the map time and time again! Pete, so controlled. Loved it!
@lachlan – good point, through the years Canada has brought so many heavy hitters! I wouldn’t even want to start a list as i’m sure to miss someone.
Another point maybe getting ahead of things, if this was a park/street edit with riding of this kind of calibre Peter would be getting paid. Hopefully in the near future, riders will start getting a lil’ return for amazing parts such as this. Really stoked S&M are stepping up their flatland game.
Flatland seems to be on the up, even now regularly appearing on TCU. Which can only be a good thing for the future. The sport is reaching a bigger audience.
While it may or may not be the hardest move in the video, my personal favorite is the backwards facing steamroller ideas. I simply think it looks dope and is really creative. Pete, any words about your shoes?
Hell yeah Peter! Unreal bike control.
Love it! Keep it up, just lime this, please!
So good, so original. A category of his own style wise. Keep it rolling brother….
me follows bike.
me follows bike.
me follows bike.
im speechless….snm all the way, doin his thaaaang,so sick pete
Awesome!!!! Loved it!
Jim- I generally go through more shoes than bike parts it just depends on the tricks and the type of pivots. Toe pivots or heel pivots aren’t usually hard on shoes it’s full pivots that can be bad. Tricks like the last one in the video are especially bad where you can wreck shoes really quickly if you’re riding a lot.
what pegs too??
Tricks so sick, I can’t even comprehend the illness
big props, this is refreshing… and hats off to S&M for adding to their Army of riders….
woo Motavacion y creatividad
HELL YES!!!!
