Congratulations to Moto Sasaki taking the win this weekend at the Chimera A Side contest in Kumamoto Japan followed by Yu Katagiri and Ryo Katagiri.

My plan is to go to Japan for Flatark in December 2023 and Chimera A-Side in January 2024. There is a 2.5-week gap between the events, and I have decided to stay in Asia during that time. I need some sun, to get away from the Netherlands, and time for myself after a challenging period. I quickly decide on Thailand: curious about the culture, food, nature, and I think it’s easily accessible for the relatively short duration. I know Toon from various events in the past years, and I message him that I will be in Thailand during that period. Off we go!

OG Marton from Hungary just dropped his Over 53 edit, and it’s a banging featuring recent footage and some golden footage from the 90’s including junkyard to double decade at the 3:26 mark that gave me a bunch throwback vibes from his early OG Gypsy videos. Definitely worth watching this one, one of the most skilled riders hands down.
Flatland lifer, Scott Hagnas is currently out injured from a freak accident. Fully tearing his quad tendon off of his kneecap, just typing that made me wince. Scott however, used the time off his bike to put together this rad edit of his original tricks filmed from age 55-57! This is awesome, go watch this and have a speedy recovery Scott!
James White and Amos Burke get lost in London, and set themselves a fun little project to boot. Nine tries and move on to the next spot, hit play if you haven’t already and see what went down.
Here’s a really good one from the Canadian powerhouse Jason Plourde, Jason offers some great tips how to maximise and improve your contest performances.
Once again, I am catching up on what’s going on around the globe. It’s rainy day today here in Southsea, and this sweet Melbourne Flatland Session edit is the first edit that came up to watch today. Gonzalo Bellanti, Iñigo Arroyo, and Yuki Tokui enjoy a session at the infamous Melbourne Museum riding spot, good to see edits like this again!
