Powell Bikes Relaunch!
Who remembers Powell Bikes? Scott Powell is relaunching the brand, and got in touch to spread the news. Read all about it from the man himself below…

I am officially launching my latest project; producing 25 frames under the Powell Bikes name! This is going to be a 1 and done production! 5 frames are spoken for; leaving the remaining 20 frames for purchase.
The double top tube frames will be an updated version of the MTF frames that I have been riding since 2010, and will be built custom with or without brake mounts. The design has already been finalized, and a sample frame should be created this month — I will post photos of the sample frame once I have it in hand.
For now I have photoshopped my current frame to resemble the finished frame. The cost will be $500 USD plus shipping; custom colors will be available for an additional $50 USD. Preorders will begin immediately for $100 USD and will be closed off once 20 frame orders are received.

Specs:
Top Tube = 19”
Head tube angle = 75
Sear tube angle = 71
Stand over height = 8”
Chain Stay length = 13.25” – 14.25”
Distance of top tubes at seat post from outer edge to outer edge = 3.5”
Bottom Bracket = Mid
With or Without Brake Mounts
Duel Cable Brake System
Weight = 5lbs (approximate)
Actual weight once sample frame arrives
