The 11th VoodooJam rolled through New Orleans, Louisiana USA, the last weekend in July.
Riders from eleven different countries braved the 108° (F) heat index to make this event one of the best ones yet!
The classic pre-jam went down at Annunciation Center Park, in New Orleans on Friday. This location was about a mile from the host hotel, so a ton of riders took advantage of it! I remember counting close to 100 people directly involved in the flatland scene, hanging out and riding.
Ucchie made his first entry to the World Circuit this year at Voodoo Jam. Signature double foot pedal ice cream.

The Final Flatland Fracas happened on Sunday August 2nd in East Bridgewater, MA USA. It was an amazing day, bringing a fitting end to this fun grassroots contest series.
Killer shot of Jason Plourde You really do have to witness his riding live to appreciate!
During the Vans US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, California this past weekend. Matthias Dandois was in town to perform in the shows along with the locals including Gabe Weed, and many others including Stevie Churchill who joined in the show! Looks like a good time in Cali!
The final flatland fracas took place this past weekend, Rick MacDonald explains more:
A huge thank you to our generous sponsors:
S&M bikes, PB Blaster, WE bicycles, Quest BMX, Porkchop BMX, Bizhouse, Flatland Fuel, Profile Racing, Colony, Port Jeff Bike Dr., Primo, Heresy, Bern Helmets, Deco, We The People, Etnies, igi, Remorse, Daily Grind Shop, St. Martin, Reklamation Bikes, Boston Bike Guy, Scott Denoncourt, A Wicked Ride, Fuse Concepts, EB Skatepark Committee, Teddie Peanut Butter, Parkerriverknife.com, and Maul’s Bike Shop.
I started the Fracas in 2010 with a few small goals. Over the years it grew exponentially and smashed every one of them. There is no way (and not enough space) to thank all the friends, family, riders from all over, and sponsors that contributed and made it happen over the years. Flatland BMX is alive and well in New England, and we were glad to prove it over and over!
Thanks again, -Rick MacDonald

It’s been a while since I have seen an edit from the BMXbose crew, so I was excited to see this Momo jam (aka Peach jam) pop up in my inbox today! Grassroots japanese style with amazing riding from the likes of Hisato Yamashiro who hits some gnarly lines including his signature backwards spinning crackpacker on pedal around the 8:37 mark, Zukky, Tyson, Yuya Shiga, Takagi Ryosuke, Eno, and many more! Definitely worth a watch and also check Eiichiro’s highlights edit from the jam!
In time for the 2015 Voodoo Pre jam going down today, Erik Otto just dropped last years pre jam edit featuring a whole host of amazing riding from the likes of Yohei Uchino (xft ice cream full body varial gliding junkyard around 12:52 is amazing), John Yull, Jason Plourde, Alex Jumelin, Takahiro Ikeda, Nauto Tamaru, Viki Gomez, Tsutomu Kitayama (his signature spin at 9:56 to crackpacker mid line is so good!), plus so much more! Soak up the Voodoo vibes, as always Erik kills it with the edit!
The Voodoo pre jam kicks off today, Scott and the crew are holding a pre jam at Annunciation Center Square Park, which is a mile from the host hotel and the Generation Hall in New Orleans. Veteran and Novice classes go down later today + the rider groups have been announced for Am/Pro qualifying on Saturday, good luck to everyone competing! See below:
