At the KOG 2002 in Tokyo, Seiji Sakata had us with our jaw on the floor, the flow this man was blessed with was just something else. The line at 00:13 I shall remember forever, I know that I already posted this video a month ago. But with today’s tragic news, it deserves it again. RIP Seiji Sakata and thank you for everything!
Very sad news today here on Flatmattersonline, Japanese flatland legend Seiji Sakata lost his battle with liver cancer that we reported around a month ago. I’m sure I speak for the whole flatland community in saying this is a very sad day, and my condolences go out to his wife Mari, family and friends. Taking from us way too young.
In all of our hearts forever.

“This year I’m organazing the Xtreme sports festival called O’Marsiquiño as you may new there will be flatland contest as every year!
This is a great contest in a great city, it’s like a holidays, Alex Jumelin came last year and he really loved the contest and the city, he’s coming back this year too!
About the prize money for the contest it’s gonna be like this:
1-600€
2-400€
3-300€
4-200€
5-100€
6-50€
7-50€
It’s a total of 1700€ price money which is ok, I would like to make this contest bigger, but for it i need more flatland riders to come!
Also will be a street and park contest here will come big names, Daniel Dhers already came 3 years to this event Alex Donnachie, this year, Simone barraco is coming, Joris Culomb, Broc Raiford.
So it’s a big event!
The contest will be the 11,12 and 13th of August, in the city of Vigo which is in the northwest side of Spain.
There are planes to Vigo but maybe is cheaper for some people to flight to Madrid and then take a train or bus to Vigo.”

Day 22 in the amazing Scott Powell Decade Anthology series, for all of you wondering why this one isn’t a Must Watch. This move has been done before by none other than Steve Bisseker some 20 years ago. From description, Scott hints there is another backwards decade coming shortly.
