also, one of the nicest riders you will meet. there was a girl about 10 years old there with her parents who had a huge crush on him. she asked me his name and if she could get a picture of him. i approached him right after his winning run and he gladly accepted. the girl could not believe that such a bigger than life figure would come over and do that, and she was frozen with embarrassment. she was too shy to take the picture, but her dad was able to. ucchie was flattered and saw the humor in her reaction. he tried to tell her it really was ok, and that he’d be honored to have his picture taken with her. great guy, great rider!
