St Martin Ten Frame 2013

Yesterday St Martin released one of their 2013 frames. Going for a double top tube frame is a brave move, or perhaps not with the recent resurgence in Old School/Collectors bike parts, eg, Haro. Time will tell. For now take look if you haven’t already. Is it time for double and triple decades to come back?

Frame specs:

Top tube: 17.9, 18.8″
Chainstays: 12.2″
Head angle: 75
Seat angle: 71
BB Height: 12.2″
Weight 1880 grams

Paul Chamberlain – Japan September 2012

Paul Chamberlain Japan September 2012 from freestyle now on Vimeo.

Freestyle Now squad member Paul Chamberlain has spent some time in Japan. Traveling around and riding with some of the locals and exploring all things Japan. Here is a sample of what he has been doing over the first few weeks all filmed from his iphone. The toilet commentary had me in stitches. Great stuff!

UK BMX Vibes Cancelled!

Just got word from Ade King that the UK BMX Vibes on the scheduled for 13th October in Cambridge has been cancelled. Bummer!

“Due to the new owners of the premises having evicted the charity/bikeclub. It’s so they can start demolishing the building to make way for a new tescos express. So no jam sorry.”

Sean Fontenot – CandyTurn Progress

Check this new video on Sean’s progress on the Scarlo Squeak down at the LBC Globe riding spot. Here’s what Sean had to say….

“At the beginning of the year I started learning the newschool version of the ‘CandyBar’ (brakeless/pegless, gliding/turbining). I tore my lateral meniscus learning the trick and stopped doing it for months. I’ve spent almost no time on the trick other than to do a few video parts….all of which I *hated* doing…..

Finally decided to put some time back into the switch and learn how to integrate it into my current flow. This is after a few hours of practice showing both side saddle and normal pedal stance variations.”
