Throwback Thursdays – TGM No Frills Jam 2008
Great memories from 2008 and jamming with the UK crew at the TGM riding spot in West Norwood. I haven’t watched this edit in a few years until yesterday, featuring Jason Forde, myself Effraim Catlow, Phil Dolan, and a big section from Sam Foakes which starts at the 3:36 mark. Well worth a rewind!

Tartiflat Jam – 16th & 17th September in Annecy France
This year again the Tartiflat Jam is coming back !
Rendez-vous on 16th and 17th September in Annecy (France) for an amazing week-end in between Flatlanders.
This contest is the occasion for us to share our vision and preserve BMX Flatland’s initial spirit. We guarantee : riding sessions without any pressure, no fucked-up runs due to stress, no risk to get snaked while warming-up…
On the planning : riding sessions among mates, tricks, challenges, reblochon tasting (the best French cheese!), tartiflette (the best cheese specialty!) and an enjoyable party on Saturday!
This year the Tartiflat Jam will not take place on the edge of Annecy Lake (as the ground begins to be damaged) but in Villard-sur-Thônes, on a perfectly tarred spot, close to the mountains. The party will take place just next to the playground, in an independent hall, where catering will be provided.
As the Tartiflat Association is organizing this jam upon its own resources, a contribution will be asked on site to ensure the good success of the event. Thank you for your comprehension and your participation in advance.

York Jam Today!
The 27th annual York jam is going down today in York, Pennsylvania. Seems like as good a time as any to post this York Jam edit from 1994. Featuring amazing riding from the likes of Ross Smith, Edgar Plascenia, Paul Palmer, Paul Osicka, Richard Zabzdyr (RIP) and many more from this legendary event. Well worth a watch!
King of Concrete 1999 / Canoe Lake Session
Every year at the King of Concrete contest at Southsea Skatepark, there would always be a session at the nearby Canoe Lake basketball courts. This one features myself, Mike Sommer, Lee Musselwhite, Alexis Desolneux and Chase Gouin.
Sietse Van Berkel Welcome Jam
Hidenori Ishizaki and friends welcomed Sietse Van Berkel to Osaka, Japan in style hosting an awesome jam with all the locals and visitors in attendance. Feel the good vibes throughout and plenty of amazing riding, some of the standout clips for me were:
Jumpei Goto: unorthodox amazing pumping style at 3:59, steam to half hiker pivot xft half hiker pivot haldpacker turbine backwards halfpacker pivot xft half hiker out! Wow!
Yuichi “ill” Tamiya – Backwards nannie for days switching ranks, regular, and switch, kick forward ending in a slow dump truck body varial line at 5:40! The control is out of this world!
Sietse van Berkel – opposite steamboat ride in line at 7:56, really liked the halfpacker step one foot crack mid way through!
And there’s plenty more aside from what I have highlighted, don’t sleep on this one! It’s an amazing week for edits for so far!!
