Jean-Francois Boulianne stayed almost 4 months in California this winter, you can’t beat that winter sunshine feel that California offers. Omarisquiño Contest: August 12-14th
Omarisquiño contest news this morning from Alberto Moya! Fancy a trip to Spain?
“The contest will be the 12,13 and 14 of August.
There are two classes to compete, amateur and Pro.
The Pro price money total it’s 4.100€, split among the top 5 .
This is in Vigo, a beach city, this is probably the best contest! It’s a huge sports festival where you never get bored of it.
There are Bmx park, Street and Flatland contests. There are also many other contest like Mtb downhill, skate or football freestyle.
There are live concerts at night, that makes the Omarisquiño a really special event.
To get there the you have many options, riders can take the flight to Vigo, santiago de compostela and Oporto Airports. There is shuttle service from the Vigo airport, from the other 2 airports riders have to contact Guelo beforehand and he will check.”
U.K. Flatland League: 2nd July
One for the U.K. flatland community, on the 2nd July Round 1 of the U.K. flatland league is taking place at the Ardwick Sports Hall in Manchester. If you search their Instagram there are plenty of hotel details on there, etc.
Alex Jumelin wins Nantua Fest
Congratulations to Alex Jumelin, winner of Nantua Fest over in France followed on the podium by Joris Bretagnolles and Varo Hernandez.
The Fise flat academy students cleaned up to with Gabin Jumelin winning the am class and Melissa Droll the girls class. Congratulations!
Naoto Tamaru wins Arkleague in Yokohama!
Massive congratulations to Naoto Tamaru who just took a huge win at Arkleague in Yokohama Japan followed on the podium by young bucks Takato Moriya & Yu Katagiri!

Yu Katagiri takes the top spot at Arkleague in Yokohama, Japan followed by Moto Sasaki and Yu Shoji. Top 8 through to what looks like a heavy final, somebody please film!
Watching the Top 3 in Pro at Fiseworld / UCI World Cup Montpellier!
Montpellier never disappoints, and this year was no different. The top 3 this year were all Japanese, Kio Hayakawa, Yu Shoji and Moto Sasaki! These runs are worth watching, congratulations to Kio, Yu and Moto!
