Kestrel Roopnarine: Trinidad BMX Legacy
It’s been a while since I heard from Kestrel Roopnarine from Trinidad, and he just came through a 34 minute edit full of flatland, street and park clips over the past couple of years showcasing riders that have visited Trinidad. Enjoy this one!
York Uno: How-to Hitchhiker
If you are lucky enough to have a backyard spot to ride, and your learning to ride. The hitchhiker is a staple move to learn along the flatland journey, York Uno gives you some tips to learn this famous move. All hail The K!
George Manos: Weaponry
WEAPONRY from George Manos on Vimeo.
Interesting discussion on the site about originality, and lack of riders touching the tyre. George Manos is one of those riders that still in 2020, finds creative ways of using the foot to tyre technique in a modern way in order to crate something new. Peep his latest instagram compilation right here….
Khaled Huerta: 3 Fisherman
That moment of triumph, is worth all the failed attempts. Khaled Huerta, keeps on entertaining us all with his long front wheel lines, good stuff Khaled!
Art Thomason: Isolation
Art Thomason – Isolation Edit from art thomason on Vimeo.
Isolation sure doesn’t seem so bad when you have a backyard riding spot like Art Thomason does. And, Art puts it too good use in this new edit, digging the Cliffhanger double peg to peg boomerang to cliffhanger at 00:31 from the opening line. There’s so much more to boot, go watch this one!
The Flatmattersonline Exclusives: 1-10
What’s up everybody?
I hope everyone is safe and well at home during this really difficult time. A couple of people shared the idea to post the first ten clips on one edit to look back over, and during this lockdown period. I have plenty of time to kill, so here are the first the clips that started back in January of this year.
These clips have become a thing, and I am really stoked on the reaction to doing these. Thanks to all the riders that taken part so far and shared their progressive lines with all of us.

Great progression from Iñigo Arroyo Gutiérrez in the last couple of years, and Iñigo just hot me up with this compilation of riding footage from his social media over during 2019/2020. Plenty of front and back wheel pivotry to get you motivated in this one!
Old School Sundays with Jay Jones
The date is unknown on this event, AFA Tampa 1989/90 is what I’m working with. If you are reading this, let me know in the comments. Jay Jones, what a rider. This guy brought a lot of style to flatland, before I even knew style was a thing. Watch this amazing run, double backwards whiplash to forwards rope, switch handed hang nothings and more, Jay ruled!
Takahiro Ikeda: Guinness World Records / BMX fastest Spin
“The most BMX one-handed time machines in 30 seconds is 45, achieved by Takahiro Ikeda (Japan) at Oasispark, JAPAN.”
* Editors note: I would call this a lung spin, nevertheless, who has more than 45 circles in 30 seconds, that’s going to be tough to beat.
