Phil Dolan: Flatland Life begins at 40

Bit of a UK flatland scene on the site this week, with Round 1 of the UK Bmx Flatland league taking place in Leicester this weekend. I randomly came across this amazing edit from one of the best to ever do it, Phil Dolan’s “Flatland Life begins at 40” still hits to this day, some amazing figure of eight skills on show right here at the Camden riding spot! Well worth a rewatch or this might be your first time watching!

Jean William Prevost wins The Jam Circle in Houston Texas

The jam circle contest popped off this weekend in Houston, Texas! Congratulations to FM rider of the year, Jean William Prevost taking the win in the Pro class followed by Terry Adams and Benjamin Hudson. So good to see Benjamin back in the mix.

Congratulations to Troy Hebert, winner of the expert class followed by Joey Kyllo and Anthony Schneidewind. This event looked absolutely amazing, props to Hector Garcia, Jerry Milborn, and Steven Lapsley for putting this event together. Hopefully this event stays on the flatland calendar!

Aude Cassagne: Hang 5 Podcast Episode 30

It’s time for episode 30 of the Hang 5 Podcast, Francois sat down with the current female flatland world champion, French shredder Aude Cassagne. Currently residing in the famous wine town of Bordeaux.
While she started riding a long time ago, Aude had put her bike down while attending Med school. She is a doctor whose specialty consists of diagnosing potentially cancerous cells. In 2022, she picked up her bike and took the scene by storm. Winning the world championships in Abu Dhabi, getting on the Heresy team and winning the reader’s choice award for best female rider on Flatmatters. Here is her story:
