Episode 76: Flatmattersonline Exclusive with Rodney Williams

YO!!!

What is up everybody? It is time for episode 76 of the Flatmattersonline Exclusives, today it is the turn of the one and only Rodney Williams!
Rodney comes through with his second FM clip, and 77 is more in keeping with Rodney’s style. Throwing down a long line, love the circle k pedal bar flips in this one. This is a move that I used to do a long time ago, and seeing Rodney do these made me feel like learning these once again. It’s great that clips can inpire you like that!
Thanks Rodney for the motivation, and for contributing.

Whose got episode 77? Hopefully dropping Sunday…

Episode 75: Flatmattersonline Exclusive with Barre Neirynck

YO!

What’s up everyone? It’s time for episode 75 of the Flatmattersonline exclusives, today it’s the turn of Barre Neirynck out of Belgium. Barre comes through with a solid whiplash to hang 10 seat grab move combo’ing it multiple times before a stomped out exit to pedals! BOOM!!!
Barre threw down an amazing Urban Waves contest a few years back in Belgium, and today I’m stoked to see this fresh clip out of him.
Thanks Barre for contributing, whose got episode 76? Dropping Wednesday.

Episode 74: Flatmattersonline Exclusive with Art Thomason

YO!!!

What’s up everyone? It’s time for episode 74 of the Flatmattersonline exclusives, today Hoffman Bikes rider Art Thomason comes through with his second FM clip.
Art rips on both wheels, and his second exclusive is a killer back wheel line starting inside switch b flip upside down, foot pivot to switch foot mega spins and ends sending the two footed death truck turbines into orbit. I had to get a NASA reference in there somewhere, thanks Art for contributing!
And thank you to everyone who reached out to my request for more clips. We have the next two locked in, so keep these clips coming.

Must Watch: Moto Sasaki Private Jam

So much to love about this new “Moto Sasaki Private Jam” edit by Jimalog. After a quiet spell, it seems Spring time is here, and the flood gates are opening on “Must watch” edits, and boy this is a treat.
The big news here is Moto Sasaki got a private spot, what I love about this, is rather than keeping it to himself he’s bringing in the next generation of shredders into enjoy this blessing.
As you already will know, the riding level is ridiculous with standouts from Yu Shoji, Kio Hayakawa and the ender from Moto Sasaki!
But there is plenty more from the likes of Akihiko Takahashi, Masashi Itani, Yuta Watanabe, Ruo Hayakawa, Yuo Hayakawa, Takashi Ishida, Koh Yoshida. Nao Yoshida, and Ryuga Matumura.

This edit got me so amped to ride, thanks Moto and Jimalog for sharing this, and all the heads involved providing the feel good vibes!

This one is on repeat today!

MK Format Open Zoom Battle

Almost everyone who is serious about competing understands that the nervousness during a competition run can make things go wrong, just because the nervousness/anxiety took over the moment you wanted to do a good job with the run you had worked so hard for many months/years.

I have been running these Zoom live contest run simulations for about 2 years now and I have seen a remarkable improvement in everyone’s stress management skills when it comes to understanding how to develop a strong ability to understand how to perform well while feeling nervous. That being said, the live battle system I have here at MK Format works very efficiently and now it is time to make these battles open for everyone! Yes, you don’t need to be part of the coaching program and you can enter these weekly battles whenever you want. However, to make it feel even more like a real contest, there is an entry fee to join these live Zoom battles.

Contest season is starting and the battles are open for everyone starting next week. This is your opportunity to practice in a safe environment and truly understand where your current contest riding level is. In other words, the way you´ll ride in your first Zoom battle is how you would ride in your next contest.

One time entry fee is 50 USD / 42 EUR.
