This Flatgames contest from 2017 in Japan really motivated me and brightened my day, sit down, grab a cuppa and get motivated! Hiroya Morizaki wins Jeep Real Games Finals 2020
Yohei Uchino just posted the BIG news of the day, Hiroya Morizaki held onto the first place spot from qualifying to win arguably the highest level contest of the year at the Jeep Real Games. Congratulations Hiro!!!
Hiroya was followed by young rippers, Kio Hayakawa and Ryo Katagiri. The video are just dropping on instagram, so get ready to have your mind blown. I will try to get some on here if possible.

The 2019 Flatmattersonline Year End Award Winners Announced!
It’s about that time where I announce the winners for the 2019 Flatmattersonline Year End Awards, both in editorial and reader categories!!!
The awards are now in their sixth year, and this year was noticeable to see the efforts of many of you to get in the mix for edit of year as the deadline drew closer. That in itself felt like a win win situation for us all….
This really is a chance for me to give something more back to the flatland community, and not just award one rider with an award. Nice in my opinion to have a mix that recognise the talent within our community, without a further a due lets get right into it!
BIG congratulations to all the winners (I will be in touch!), and also everyone who got nominated. Huge honour in my opinion to get nominated from your riding peers. Thanks again to everyone in the flatland community who took the time to vote, great to see such a healthy participation for 2019!

Flat Games 2017 in Chiba, Japan
Great footage from the recent Flat Games contest in Chiba, Japan featuring so much awesome riding in order from: Ryo Katagiri, Ryosuke Takagi, Nao Yoshida, Yorimitsu Miyata 00:48!!, Naoto Tamaru, Shinichiro Hara, Yasuhiro Uehara, Kazuma Nakajima, look out for the young ripper Takumi Isogai at around the 1:52 and the no handed spinning halfpacker whip halfpacker line at such a young age at 2:17, unreal! Masashi Itani, Keisuke Tanigawa, Naoki Watanabe, and Fumiya Kanna, great edit by Yasushi Kajiwala! Don’t sleep on this, underground japan at its finest, I believe Moto Sasaki organised this event.
