Congratulations to Matthias Dandois, winner of the Never Off The Battle contest this weekend followed by Yu Katagiri and Yu Shoji. That’s two wins on back to back weekends for MD. Props to Dani and Alex Jumelin putting this one on, once again this looked like one of the best events so far this year.

Matthias Dandois wins Omarisquino in Vigo, Spain

French takeover at Omarisquino in Vigo, Spain with Matthias Dandois taking the win followed by Alex Jumelin & Anatole Rahin in the third place podium spot! That contest floor looks like the best I’ve seen in a long time! Next week it’s the Never Off The Battle and the King of Concrete it’s a busy contest season!

TJ Perry: A Link Story

TJ Perry just dropped this nice story behind getting back into riding and the challenges he faced, and the struggles of working his riding from a large out in the open rough car park surface to undercover smooth garage riding spot with very little resistance on the tyres. This worth your time to sit down and watch and listen to, great to see TJ give some advice that can help others. We definitely need more of these helpful videos.

Matt Wilhelm’s Winning Ride: AFA North Carolina

Few riders on the planet are blessed with the talent and ability to able to perform a flawless three minute run. Add progressive tricks in the mix and that number gets even smaller, Matt Wilhelm had one of those magical runs at last weekend’s AFA contest in Winston Salem, North Carolina! Wow, love watching Matt do his thing!

Mark Noble: Ride On Interview

Ride On talks to Mark Noble.mp4 from Neil Waddington on Vimeo.

This is one of those moments where I say grab a cuppa, set yourself an hour free to chill out on your couch, and tune into the Mark Noble Ride On Interview. Mark is the man behind Ride UK BMX Magazine and much more, and the man that encouraged me to start Flatmattersonline. Mark was also a flatland world champion. This is essential viewing, top work Waddy!

Must Watch: Viki Gomez / Rise 5

To coincide with the annual BMX day, Viki Gomez just dropped Rise 5. What would Viki follow up his award winning video with from last year, this year… There are so many complex gems in this one, working his titanium bike to its full potential.

Standouts:

2:54 Forward death truck turbine line switching out opposite side.
3:35: Line of the edit for me, watching this one on repeat. The exit is beautiful.
4:55 Two footed turbine backyard line, so much style and body English.
6:15 Ice Cream bike flip out peg wheelie hop to xft steam!

There’s a lot of great stuff in this great edit put together by Sevisual. Happy BMX day everyone! Thanks Viki and Sevisual for this treat!

DUBJUANCO: Montréal 2 Windsor

Ride along with Jean William Prévost & Juan Niebles as they drive from Montréal to Windsor passing through Toronto and enjoying sessions with Remy Dunoyer, Brandon Fenton and Chase Gouin at the Toronto Dunbat skatepark and at the Windsor/ Detroit water front! So good to see some fresh Dub footage, and Chase Gouin!!! Don’t miss this one!

Must Watch: Ahmed Johnson / Eureka

A lot of back wheel riding currently looks very similar, not that that’s a bad thing. Ahmed Johnson’s riding hits differently, the way this man appears to walk around the bike stepping side to side with so much style is incredible to watch. Love the line at 1:23, and the opposite F truck at the Spot in Redondo Beach at 2:26!!
