Happy birthday to Viki Gomez, this weeks TBT is dedicated to Viki. The Red Bull Circle of Balance in Tokyo, Japan went off. Stew Johnston flew out to Japan to document the event for Props Video magazine, this section still rules to this day. So much good riding, you don’t want to sleep on this one!

Throwback Thursdays – Fight with Flight 2009
Let’s take it back for this week TBT. The second annual Red Bull Fight with flight contest went down in January 2009! Held in a unique aircraft hanger location in Indianapolis, IN. The likes of Matthias Dandois, Matt Wilhlem, Terry Adams, Shintaro Misawa, Jean William Prevost, Dom Nekolny, Jesse Puente, Moto Sasaki and many more go head to head battle style. Matt Wilhelm came out on top on this occasion, Red Bull put together this documentary style edit from the event.

Today I made the trip from Southsea to Kortrijk in Belgium via the Eurostar out of St.Pancras, London. I arranged with contest organiser, Barre Neirynck to be picked up in Lille, France which was just hour and half from London. Dez Maarsen kindly picked me up and drove me direct to the event.

Most of you will have read the Jay Marley interview about the Gasparilla Flatland Jam last weekend in Tampa, Florida now it’s time for some footage. Jean William Prevost wins Azteca Jam in Mexico
Congratulations to Jean William Prevost who took the win at the Azteca Jam in Mexico, followed by Terry Adams and Benjamin Hudson on the podium. As far as I know this is a new event to the contest calendar, hopefully we will see some footage from the event soon.
Matthias Dandois wins Fise Edmonton Semi Finals
Matthias Dandois took the top spot yesterday at Fise Edmonton, followed by Jean William Prevost and Alex Jumelin. You can watch Matthias Dandois qualifying run with some nice commentary from Darryl Nau and Lionel Cardoso and below we have the full semi final runs for you to watch.

Voodoo Jam Flat Rhythms – September 7th
It’s going to be a busy week ahead in the world of BMX flatland. And here’s something a little bit different going down on the lead up to the Voodoo jam weekend, starting at 1003 Bourbon Street (the party district of New Orleans). The Red Bull team featuring Terry Adams, Matthias Dandois, Yohei Uchino, Viki Gomez, and Benjamin Hudson will be performing with the New Creations Brass Band on Thursday September 7th at 5pm. If you are in town early for the event, go check this out! Sure to be a good time on Bourbon Street.
