Today I made the trip from Southsea to Kortrijk in Belgium via the Eurostar out of St.Pancras, London. I arranged with contest organiser, Barre Neirynck to be picked up in Lille, France which was just hour and half from London. Dez Maarsen kindly picked me up and drove me direct to the event.

This weekend it is the annual Fight the Winter contest in Göttingen, Germany. 600 Euros up for grabs at the Kauf Park. The first stop of the German Championships for 2018, hit play to check a short edit of Malte Orth, Alberto Moya, Gino Stuart and more busting out.

Like everyone when the iBMXff World Championships were announced a few months back, I thought “Where the hell is Flatland?”, there were various trains of thoughts from most of the flatland community, but it seemed summed up with “it’s not the worlds without flatland”, emails went back and forth. If I am being honest, I didn’t think Flatland would be included with budgets and all….
