Throwback Thursdays with KGB Japan Road Trip + KOG 2006!

JAPAN ROAD TRIP PART 1 from PSYCHOSTUDIO on Vimeo.

Why not go back to when flatmatters started in 2008 for this weeks 4 years anniversary Throwback Thursday! And one of the first videos I posted was this edit from the KGB japan road trip! Killer footage of Viki Gomez, Hiroya Morizaki, Matt Wilhelm, and the boss, Martti Kuoppa going off in the land of the rising sun. If you missed this one, phew what a treat! Good vibes from Japan!

Old School Sundays with James White & Matt Wilhelm

Without a doubt James White and Matt Wilhelm stole the show this week with two amazing edits in their own right! Check out Matt’s section from 2001, more mid school than old school possibly, but hey its 11 years old! And Whitey’s Mad Matt section from 1995 ifilmed in York, Pennsylania!

2012 JoMoPro Finals & Best Trick – Official Highlights Video

Flatland by it’s nature is a subjective sport/artform. There is a good argument to be said that it cannot be judged. We could talk about that for days, and indeed, quite a lot of the time we do. And to be honest it feels like we are bashing our heads against a brickwall. However, the vibe that comes across during the best trick contest, seems something fresh to the scene. Jim at flatstyle wrote a lil’ editorial on the matter, hit the link below for the juice.

2012 JoMoPro Pre Jam – Pro Warmups

Fat Tony is on it! Nine combos from the pros while warming up for JoMoPro 2012 during the Friday night pre-jam at The Bridge in Joplin, Missouri. With nearly 20 pros from around the world competing this year, the finals are going to go off! Much respect to Fat and Pat Schoolen, for making Jomopro happen!

Jomopro tomorrow!

All eyes on Jomopro this weekend! Riders from all over the world are in Joplin for the first round of the World Circuit, and Second Round of the AM Flat Circuit. To continue the hype up until the event, here are what I thought were the key three battles last year, all featuring last years winner, Terry Adams. Who’s going to win this year?
