I just got round to watching the Fise Chengdu Mens Final, what a great end to the year for the Fise World Series. We had a different winner at each stop this year which really shows the level right now. This time it was Moto Sasaki’s day, taking his first win in 12 years of trying for him and Matthias Dandois finsuihed second with Dominik Nekolny in hid. It was enough for Matthias to take the year end title. When you have the time, it is certainly worth watching this final unfold. Amazing times in Chengdu, China.

Ryo Katagiri wins Fise World UCI Flatland World Cup Round 1 in Hiroshima, Japan
Just got done judging the Pro finals at the Fise World UCI Flatland World Cup here in Hiroshima, Japan. Congratulations to Ryo Katagiri who had the run of his life to take the first place position, Ryo was followed by Matthias Dandois and Dominik Nekolny in the third place spot.

Jean William Prevost wins Fise World in Chengdu, China
Congratulations to Jean William Prevost who took the win at the final stop of the Fise World Series in Chengdu, China. Dub was followed on the podium by Moto Sasaki and Matthias Dandois, you can watch the top three runs, check the results and the whole finals below. Congratulations also to Matthias Dandois who took the year end Fise World title, followed by Alex Jumelin and Jean William Prevost.

Throwback Thursdays – Fight with Flight 2009
Let’s take it back for this week TBT. The second annual Red Bull Fight with flight contest went down in January 2009! Held in a unique aircraft hanger location in Indianapolis, IN. The likes of Matthias Dandois, Matt Wilhlem, Terry Adams, Shintaro Misawa, Jean William Prevost, Dom Nekolny, Jesse Puente, Moto Sasaki and many more go head to head battle style. Matt Wilhelm came out on top on this occasion, Red Bull put together this documentary style edit from the event.
Jean William Prevost wins Urban Waves 2018!
Congratulations to Jean William Prevost who dropped an amazing flawless performance to top Matthias Dandois’ flawless run with Yu Katagiri just ahead of Dominik Nekolny on a borrowed bike for the 3rd place spot. What a weekend here in Belgium!

Repo: Urban Waves Day 1
Today I made the trip from Southsea to Kortrijk in Belgium via the Eurostar out of St.Pancras, London. I arranged with contest organiser, Barre Neirynck to be picked up in Lille, France which was just hour and half from London. Dez Maarsen kindly picked me up and drove me direct to the event.

It’s Day 2 of the Bike Days contest, and already yesterday I felt like I have been in Switzerland for a week and it’s only been since late Thursday night. Relaxed lifestyle, old architecture, very clean almost every where you look, and amazing Swiss typography that brings back memories from my university days.
Saturday is all about qualifying, I headed down to the contest to post the Day 1 repo before we got started judging the contest at 3. When I arrived Dominik Nekolny was the only rider on the floor, and as usually completely going off, it’s really hard to try and update the site whilst wanting to watch Dom ride and go through his practice routine all on board the Deep Blitz frame, Frank Lucas was stoked.

On Thursday night I flew into Zurich, Switzerland for the annual Bike Days contest. Dan Hennig kindly picked me up from the airport and we kicked it at his new house out in the beautiful countryside on the outskirts of Zurich. Dan picked up Dustyn Alt and Maik Speer on Friday morning before we made the one hour trip to Solothurn.
