Two Must Watch edits in the same day, I am playing catch up well and truly. One of the most interesting riders in the game right now, Matthieu Bonnecuelle filmed this one in a day and there are so many refreshing ideas to take in and get inspired by.
Juan Niebles comes through with an amazing new edit that everyone needs to watch, the forward death truck walkover lines are ridiculous, if I had to pick a stand out the line at 4:54 is beautiful and so hard! I’ll be watching this one again and again…
Congratulations to Alex Jumelin, Yu Katagiri, Yu Shoji, Kio Hayakawa, and Terry Adams the nominees for the Nora Cup Flatlander of the Year. Who’s your money on?
Stevie B of Clicked Video Magazine fame came through with a solid edit that captured most of the highlights of an action packed King of Concrete weekend. With yours truly even getting to have a ride, in between MIC duties, judging, tabulating scores, handling music and all the goes with running an event. Thanks Stevie for getting this edit done so quickly, what a weekend!

Congratulations to Joris Bretagnolles winner of the Fise experience contest this weekend in Le Havre, France. Joris was followed on the podium by Anatole Rahain and Alex Jumelin. Hopefully some footage soon from this event.

Episode 26 of the Hang 5 Podcast just dropped with Travis Collier, over to Francois Debroux and TC!
“For this episode, we travel to New York state where Vancouver native Travis Collier is now residing. Growing up in the Vancouver Flatland scene of the late 90’s, Travis went to make a big impact on the flatland world with his unique style. One of the, if not the first one to use the pumping technique during combos. A very creative mind, he also designed some flatland products still in use today. After a successful pro career, he went on to found a design agency. That eventually led him to relocate to New York and work with some famous liquor brands.
Here is his story.”
Varo Hernandez not only got in the ring for the Never Off The Battle contest, but came through with this awesome edit. If you missed the Instagram live feed, then you will want to check this out!
I can’t remember the last time we had a Must Watch edit that dropped exclusively on the site. Lee Musselwhite comes through with this short and banging new BANE edit, with series of NBD’s that you want to be watching on repeat. This is a treat, thanks Lee for sharing!

Congratulations to Matthias Dandois, winner of the Never Off The Battle contest this weekend followed by Yu Katagiri and Yu Shoji. That’s two wins on back to back weekends for MD. Props to Dani and Alex Jumelin putting this one on, once again this looked like one of the best events so far this year.
