BMX Vienna Jam goes Wiener Fahrradschau – The Movie
Great edit by Sevisual of the annual Vienna jam which this year took place at the Wiener Fahrradschau as part of a bicycle exhibition last weekend. Nothing but good vibes with Sebastian Grubinger, Viki Gomez, Mates Tucek, Sietse Van Berkel, Rob Alton and many more, also great to see some flatland tuition going down. Really enjoyed this, and no doubt you will to!

Nevertheless, this is certainly worth a rewatch! One of the most important events on the flatland contest calendar, that retains a certain aura year to year when I’m there. Hit play for amazing combos from the likes of Viki Gomez, Martti Kuoppa, Matthias Dandois, Adam Kun, Seppl, Justin Miller (Kickflip backpacker line at 2:28 into his hitch kickflip backpacker!), Chris Bohm, Bram Verhallen (lookout for his Xft 360 Kickflip hitch at 1:34!), Frank Lucas, Kotaro Tanaka, Wolfgang Sauter and Keelan Phillips.

DVD’s in the modern era are a sad rarity in our scene from my perspective, during the last two years you can count those on less than one hand. Dane Beardsley’s Same thing daily project and IGI’s travel video are all we have had. Stewart Munro from Australia stepped up to the plate with an ambitious project to collect and edit together rider sections from all the planet, when you think about that in the modern internet culture and free edits available everyday it almost seems like a thankless task.
Thankfully Stewart stuck to the task which being so far away from all the other riders is I can imagine a tough task to collate together. The downloadable video straight to your laptop is catching on in other sports such as Skateboarding, more recently massive companies such as Adidas are releasing their projects for a small fee online. Will it catch on to what is essentially a small flatland audience? Only time will tell…

The annual Austrian Flatland Jam will take place during the “Wiener Fahrradschau” bicycle exhibition from 21/23. of October 2016 at the “Marx Halle” Wien.
Beside the Flatland Jam and a relaxed “Cash for Tricks Jam” where everybody can take part, you can attend workshops with Viki Gomez or watch a Video premiere of his film called “Intrinsic”.
And all 3 days long Sevisual capture the best moments for a “weekend video” that will be premiered already on Sunday afternoon.

Alex Jumelin wins Omarisquino Contest in Vigo, Spain!
